Dave Harkless on a tandem bike

Dave Harkless

Dave Harkless walked into Littleton Bike looking for a part time job in 1992 and never left. Over the years he learned the business and worked his way up to manager. In May of 2003 Barry Field, Dave’s good friend and boss, was killed in a motorcycle accident. Dave ran the shop for the rest of the season then purchased it in the spring of 2004 and changed the name to Littleton Bike & Fitness. Dave is an avid rider, usually preferring his mountain bike or Fatbike during the winter. Currently he lives in Littleton with his wife Mel and their dogs Eli and Cooper.
Dave has extensive experience and knowledge in the many facets of the bicycle industry. He takes pride in helping people have a positive experience both purchasing and riding their bikes.

Thomas inside of bike shop wearing face mask

Thomas

Thomas joined the staff in 2005 bringing with him many years of experience as both a cyclist and a bike mechanic. He is our service manager and also has a side business in St Johnsbury.  Thomas is the guy to see when you want to talk about old obscure parts or movie trivia. Thomas has raced both road and mountain for years along with more than a few triathlons.

Jen Dodge outside wearing a helmet

Jen Dodge

Jen Dodge started off by helping us with events and club rides. She was so good and passionate about riding, we decided she needed to work with us so we hired her in 2018. Jen is a Specialized Bicycles Ambassador, which means she represents Specialized and helps promote their mission. Jen runs our Wednesday night White Mountain Mellow rides. A no drop road ride of 15 miles or less. Jen Is also in the shop a couple mornings a week helping customers and keeping the rest of us on the right path.

Travis Kelley Sitting outside with a dog

Travis Kelley

Travis Kelley joined us in the Spring of 2014. He is a great mechanic with attention to detail, he is the guy you want to find that annoying creak (because they annoy him!) Travis is a seasonal employee for us, working most of the year but taking the winter off to build the famous Ice Castle in North Woodstock. When not working he can be found wandering through the woods looking for trail possibilities or bombing Downhill on his bike. Travis and his friends started a trail building company in 2019 called Dirt Slangers, they have done extensive work on the Bethlehem Trails BTA.

John Ryan standing inside bike shop

John Ryan

John Ryan worked for us for a quite a while and then left, he’s been back since last year and very much appreciated. John prefers road riding and likes solving issues with road bikes. Of course he is fluent with mountain bikes and other styles.
